Lucy, 32, rose to fame in the singing competition in 2012, and tied the knot earlier this month but didn’t share any pictures from the special day.
She first gave fans a sneak peek of the days before the wedding as well as her honeymoon.
Following the breakdown of her first marriage, the singer found happiness with Emilia, who she married at a stunning setting.
Simon Cowell, 64, walked the singer down the aisle after the two formed a friendship years
after Lucy forgave him for the lack of support she received on the iconic show more than ten years ago.
In new snaps shared with Hello, Lucy and Emilia can be seen smiling as they walk down the stairs at Saltmarshe Hall in East Yorkshire after tying the knot.
Simon stood in the background clapping with pride. “Mrs & Mrs Spraggan-Smith,” she simply captioned the post. “14.6.24.” Lucy looked out of this world in a white King & Allen suit while Emilia rocked a stunning gown.
Among the guests were Simon, Simon’s partner Lauren Silverman, actor Tom Turgoose, Ru Paul’s Drag Race star Bimini Bon-Boulash and reality TV star Adam Collard. Fans and friends rushed to the comment section to congratulate the star, with Bimini Bon Boulash posting: “So gorgeous!!!” and Lizzie Cundy writing: “Wow ! Huge congratulations my darlings.”
One fan commented: “You both look so beautiful,” while another wrote: “How beautiful are you both!? Congratulations.” Speaking about her wedding, Lucy said it was the ‘perfect’ day as she walked down the aisle to her own song, Other Sides of the Moon. She was ‘already crying’ before walking down the aisle with Simon by her side.
She told Hello: “Simon and I were standing outside the door and my song started playing. I was already crying, and Simon definitely had a tear in his eye. I was linking arms with him but then I realised I was holding on to his arm. He kept saying, ‘You’re OK, you’re all right.’ Then when Emilia walked in with her dad I just sobbed.”
Simon said he was ‘honoured’ to be asked to walk her down the aisle and said he thought it was a ‘huge deal’. He said to the publication: “Being asked to walk her down the aisle made me realise the significance and importance of that role. And throughout the day, I was thinking even though it’s been a relatively short time, we do feel like family, and we share a very special bond.”
