Rosario Dawson unveiled multiple new tattoos on her thighs and legs at the beach 

while enjoying a PDA-filled getaway with her hunky boyfriend Adama Sanneh at the beach in Sardinia.

As she took a dip in the ocean, the Sin City star, best known for portraying Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian and original series Ahsoka,

 debuted some striking body art, including black lines across her hip and rear, which resembled tiger stripes. 

Some of the seemingly new additions to her ink collection included floral designs on her knees and a geometric design on her upper thigh.

Last month, on her 45th birthday, the New York native shared footage of herself getting tattooed, but admitted the pain was not for the ‘faint-hearted.’

She got the tats done at Grit N Glory in New York City from tattoo artist, Janice Danger, who describes herself as a ‘professional body decorator’ on Instagram. 

Previously, Dawson, who stated back in 2014 that she didn’t have any tattoos yet, divulged that she got inked at a South by Southwest film festival afterparty in 2022. 

She made the revelation on The Late Late Show With James Corden that she got a black star on her knee, in honor of David Bowie’s last album The Gouster. 

‘I got a star, it’s not in a good place right now,’ she joked to the audience. ‘It’s in the bleedy, scabby place right now. So I’ll save it, you’ll see it eventually.’ 

Dawson appeared proud to show off her new look in an animal-print one-piece as she enjoyed a romantic trip with her man, who could be seen holding her hand as they waded through the Mediterranean Sea together. 

The happy couple, who attended Filming Italy Festival in Sardinia earlier this week, couldn’t keep their hands to themselves as they embraced in the water and she stood smiling as he placed his hands around her waist.

Before stripping down to her bathing suit, the bombshell walked along the shore in a long white lace cover-up, fedora and oversized black shades. 

For their relaxing afternoon, Sanneh showed off his washboard abs and only visible tattoo, a sun, permanently etched into the middle of his back, as he went shirtless in a pair of black board shorts. 

After selecting their beach chairs, located feet away from the ocean, the pair placed their belongings down.  

Sanneh gazed adoringly at his partner before they made their way into the water. 

Dawson’s latest sighting comes after attending the Filming Italy Festival in Sardinia at the swanky Forte Village Resort on Saturday.

The actress made a fashion statement in a pink, purple and red multicoloured co-ord featuring an oversized blouse and figure-hugging maxi skirt.

The Unstoppable star – who is an ambassador for the annual Italian film event – displayed her sense of style accessorizing with just one maxi pendant earring which matched her outfit’s palette.

In December, Dawson announced she was set to become a grandmother in 2024. 

Her daughter Isabella, who was 11 when Rosario adopted her out of foster care, is now 21 years old and has her own baby on the way.

In an interview with Page Six, Rosario broke the news of Isabella’s impending motherhood, which she called ‘very exciting.’

She added that she hopes the baby will eventually refer to her as ‘Glamma,’ which is presumably a portmanteau of ‘glamorous grandma.’

A few years ago, Rosario relayed the story of adopting her daughter and rhapsodized that she was ‘meant to be’ Isabella’s mother.

‘With my daughter, I didn’t go to an adoption center or anything like that,’ the Rent actress revealed in a 2021 interview with Health.

‘My family knew her biological mom, and when we found out she was in foster care, we looked for her. It wasn’t even a question; it was clearly meant to be – she’s my kid.’

Rosario herself was born to a 17-year-old single mother called Isabel, who then married construction worker Greg Dawson.

Greg adopted little Rosario, who was one year old at the time of the marriage, and as a result Rosario longed to continue the tradition.

Six years before she brought Isabella home, Rosario told Latina magazine: ‘I always wanted to adopt kids cause my dad adopted me. That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I’ve been thinking about it more.’

She explained that her ‘mother and grandmother are extraordinary women, and they’re getting older,’ which had given the subject a new urgency.

‘It struck me recently that one day I might be sitting around with my children, going: “Your grandma was an amazing woman; I really wish you could’ve known her.”‘

Rosario said: ‘That makes me sad cause it would be a waste to not have these people know each other. Whatever time I have, I want it.’

Six years later, in 2014, multiple sources revealed to Us Weekly that Rosario had brought Isabella home and achieved her dream of adopting.

‘She’s always been family oriented and knew that she wanted to raise a child,’ one of the insiders explained to the magazine. ‘She wants to have a relationship with her daughter like she has with her mother.’

When Isabella was 17 years old, Rosario covered the March issue of Health and reflected in the magazine on her relationship with her daughter.

”I’m grateful for her development, our maturation and our connection…’ said Rosario, who at that point was still dating Senator Cory Booker.

‘To have a young person move in with you and to have to really consciously work through triggers and that kind of stuff is a really different thing than being pregnant and having your baby grow up in front of you – to be able to see how we’re getting closer and closer. We are a family, and it’s beautiful.’

Rosario divulged: ‘My daughter has had therapy most of her life through foster care and stuff. I’ve done weekly therapy with her starting at the age of 11. I have had it in my life, but it hasn’t been specific to me and my personal needs.’
